World Leading Finnish eiPaaS Company Frends Growing together with Malaysian Strateq Group in ASEAN

Frends, world leading enterprise integration platform as a service (eiPaaS) and Strateq Group – Malaysian enterprise solutions provider, have signed an addendum and extended their partnership to include all ASEAN markets.

This milestone event was celebrated with a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia which saw attendance from Jukka Rautio CEO of Frends with an executive team. Also in attendance was H.E Sami Leino the Ambassador of Finland to Malaysia and Brunei as well as Raymond Siva Senior Vice President of Digital Investments MDEC, whose team had been instrumental in facilitating the partnership between Frends and Strateq.

H.E the Ambassador of Finland congratulated the parties and expressed the Embassy’s and Business Finland’s support for Frends establishment in Malaysia & continued growth in the region.

Raymond Siva from MDEC also congratulated this milestone event for Frends & Strateq and expressed his support for Frends choosing Malaysia as it’s ASEAN headquarter. This less than one year on since his team had visited the Frends team in Stockholm Sweden.

At the event Rautio announced the establishment of its Malaysian subsidiary Frends Technology Sdh Bhd and the hiring of several local positions and internships as Frends are developing a Malaysian team in Kuala Lumpur. To support its local partners and growth to ASEAN.

Rautio noted that, ”Meeting all the talents, competence and regional leading companies here in Malayisa has convinced me that we as Frends, a fast growing global tech company has made the right decision to establish here as a springboard to the ASEAN region. Partnership is all about sharing visions and targets. With Strateq we have a partner we share ambitious plans with and we are committed to grow together in the ASEAN region.“
